If you have logged out from Konfident or try to access the workspace from another device or browser you first need to log in.

Select the authentication method that is required by your account:

The type of method is decided by the user that invites you to a workspace. Read more here.

Login with e-mail only

This is the basic form of login, where security is dependent on your e-mail account's security. If someone gets access to your email account they will also have access to Konfident.

Click the "Next" button in the E-mail selection box and enter your e-mail address.

An e-mail will be sent to you with a verification link.

When clicked, you will be verified.

Click on the "open workspace" button. You will find the dialog in the same browser window where you started the login.

Login using 2FA with E-mail and phone number

The most common form of adding another factor for authentication is to combine the e-mail address with sending an SMS with a unique link that the user must click (or tap) to log in.

Click the "Next" button in the "E-mail + Phone number (2FA)" selection box and enter your e-mail address and phone number. Please note, that you need to enter the country code for the phone number.

An e-mail and an SMS will be sent to you with verification links.

Click on the verification link in the e-mail and tap on the verification link in the text message.

When both links are verified you click on the "open workspace" button. You will find the dialog in the same browser window where you started the login.

Login using the COVR app

A user with 2FA as a login method can choose to upgrade their account to use an external mobile app instead. This simplifies the login method to a one-step notification in the app, where the user uses a code or biometrics, like a fingerprint or face recognition depending on the make of the phone, to log in. Besides being a much easier way to log in, it is also much safer form a security point of view, since both e-mail accounts and SMS messages have been known to be breached by hackers.

The upgrade process starts by selecting "Enable easier 2FA login" from the account drop-down menu:

You will then be asked to install the app:

The setup is quite straightforward, just follow the instructions in the app. For more information please visit the user manual on the COVR website.

When you are ready to connect your COVR app with your Konfident user account you simply scan the QR code provided by Konfident:

The next time you sign in to your Konfident user account you will get a notification in the COVR app where you accept the login:

When you have verified yourself with the COVR app you click on the "open workspace" button. You will find the dialog in the same browser window where you started the login.

Login using Bank ID (NB. only in Sweden)

In Sweden, we have a common standard for 2-factor authentication used by all major banks and many other services, the Swedish Bank ID. This can also be used to log in to a Konfident user account.

Click the "Next" button in the BankID selection box and enter your "personnummer" (Swedish social security number).

Open your BankID app and verify your identity.

When you have verified yourself with your BankID you click on the "open workspace" button. You will find the dialog in the same browser window where you started the login.
